Helpful Pets
Pets that help with the game mechanics, ex. enchanting, smithing, or brewing
Utility Pets
Pets that can be used in a certain way, ex. fighting, building, or taming
Caver
Helps with mining by collecting dropped ores (Cave Collector), highlighting nearby ores (Seeker), or giving Haste (Quick Pick). Each one has an equal chance to appear on a Caver. Texture not finished.
Bestiary
It may look grumpy, but that's because it's not used to playing and living in the light.
- Biomes Found: All cave biomes
- Abilities: Cave Collector, Seeker, Quick Pick
- Behavior (before taming): Will run away.
- Slow speed
- Food: Edible Rock (rocks that look like fruit)
- Toys: Deluded Diamond, Plastic Pickaxe, Rock Roller. Deluded Diamond is a fake diamond that gives happiness. Plastic Pickaxe is a small toy that the Caver can throw and kick around that gives satisfaction. Rock Roller is a toy that can be batted and rolled around and gives more energy.
Cosmetic Pets
Pets that are simply there to show off. Not MCD pets, that is a separate category. Cosmetic Pets have only one use besides being cosmetic.
Summonable Pets
Pets that can be summoned. Not MCD pets, that is a separate category. They have 2 uses/abilities.
Dungeons Pets
Pets from both Dungeons games, separate from Dungeons ports, used in a variety of ways. They all have their own unique purposes, and are no longer cosmetic.

Bark Moth

Baby Pets
All pets from all categories have a baby (and an adult form for MCD baby pets) form, including Dungeons Pets. The baby dungeons pets/adult dungeons pets are separate from Dungeon Distortion's new baby models for baby pets/adult versions of baby pets. You can keep the baby pets babies/grow them up using a Golden Dandelion.

Blub Variants
- Cub (looks like a brown bear), Bub (looks like a bubble), Glub (looks like a goldfish), and Lub (has boxing gloves)

Danger Pets
Pets that spawn as hostile and do lots of damage, but can be calmed, tamed, and turned into pets.
Explorer Pets
Pets that help with exploring. Things such as giving food, fighting mobs, alerting you to a nearby structure, holding items, or simply just being cute and being with you.
Fusion Pets
Fuse your pets to make Pet Hybrids! Combine 2 pets to get a unique output using the Hybrid Machine utility.
Structure Pets
Pets found in structures. Gives structures more uses. Some pets help with the structures, such as guiding you through the stronghold (but not showing the end portal room) and fighting mobs within trial chambers.

Pet Enrichment
Not inspired by Slime Rancher. Each pet has up to 3 toys they play with. Toy 1 gives more happiness, 2 gives more satisfaction, and 3 gives more energy
Stats
Each pet has these stats: Happiness, Satisfaction, Friendliness, Energy, and Trust. When these bars are low, for example, a battle pet could miss attacks or become slower. When energy is low the pet may go to sleep. The bars of these stats are found when using the Stat Device on a pet, it will show you the stats, bars, and amounts.
Pet Food
Not inspired by Slime Rancher. Feed pets their favorite food (each food is new) to tame them and do lots of other stuff with them
Pet Stuff
Pets need more than just enrichment and food. Give them furniture, decorations, plushies, and play/walk with them
Pet Abilities
Helpful and Utility pets have 3 abilities, Utility Pets' abilities will not all appear at once, they have an equal chance of appearing on a pet. Cosmetic pets have 1 ability. Summonable pets have 2 abilities. Effect Pets and Enchanted Pets have 1 ability. Add all pets that have abilities and the number of abilities they have.

Finding
You can find both adult and baby pets by finding them in the world. Not all pets will be found in the wild.
Adopting
You can adopt adult pets from the Arcane Adoption center. Not all pets will be found in the center.

You can get baby pets by breeding.
