Algor is a looter in Sinister Shadows. He was a well-renowned explorer before he stumbled upon the Coldheart Chasm and explored it, ending up being controlled by the Cold Heart itself.
Backstory
Algor was once a famous explorer of cold places. He had a team that explored with him, but soon he became obsessed with the Coldheart Chasm once finding an old map of the Tempestus. He searched for months, and once he did find it, he heard a strange call to him. When he went inside, the calling grew stronger, and he found, sealed-away, the Cold Heart. He was completely overtaken by the Cold Heart, and freed it, and was instantly put under its control. His skin became icy, and his eyes became corrupted purple.
The player can see this event happen using the Memory Matrix.
